Introducing Alan, Shari went off on a tangent about how her own band - called something with the word "pumpkin" in it - once played on the same festival bill with GBS and how they all thought it hilarious to call themselves "Great Big Pee" that day. Alan listened politely, managing not to look too terribly much like a man who has heard this sort of thing a million times before.
